K-Pop Star Goo Hara dies at 28

K-Pop idol Goo Hara passed away at the age 28.

Hara was a former member of the popular female group Kara.

Her death was confirmed by the Seoul Gangnam Police Station.

Based on a report from soompi.com, the corpse of Hara was found inside her home at Cheongdam, Seoul, South Korea, at around 6PM (Korean Time) today, November 24.

The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.

Kara passed away 6 months after her attempted suicide.

Last May 2019, the former Kara member apologized to her fans regarding her suicide attempt.

Hara had her K-Pop music scene debut in 2008 as a member of Kara.

Other members of Kara were Park Gyu Ri, Hang Seung Yeon, and Kang Ji Young.

Some of their popular songs were “Step”, “Mister”, “Mamma Mia”, and “Lupin”.

Hara performed solo through her song “Alohara (Can You Feel It)” in July 2015, and the band Kara disbanded formally in January 2016.

Hara is the best friend of Sulli, a member of the all-female group f(x) who passed away last October 14, 2019.
